Alpha Crematory is Vilas County's only on-premise cremation facility.  Cremation has become a popular alternative to traditional services and can include services of a casket viewing prior to cremation or a memorial service after cremation The Crematory Chapel is tastefully decorated with a draped viewing window to allow identification or farewell. A local artist has painted a mural depicting a spectacular Northwood's sunset to provide a peaceful setting to help comfort family and friends.
